And the winner is: Green City brand identity wins another award

The brand identity developed for Green City by the international brand experience studio Blackspace has won this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD and is thus one of the few award winners of the world-renowned design label. The award is presented once a year by the world’s oldest independent design institution, iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hanover.

The number of applicants was large: the jurors had to award the coveted seal of approval from 7,298 submissions from 56 countries. Above all, the specially created Green City Replica font convinced the 78-member international jury of experts: Stylized city structures merge with the corporate font and thus become the unmistakable logo. The font offers a consistently high level of recognition and yet remains dynamic and flexible. Last year, the Green City Replica was awarded in two design competitions.

For 67 years, the iF DESIGN AWARD has been a globally recognized trademark when it comes to excellent design. The iF brand is internationally established as a symbol of outstanding design achievements. The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most important design awards in the world. It rewards overall achievements in all disciplines: product, packaging, communication and service design, architecture and interior architecture as well as professional concept. All award-winning entries will be presented in the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE, published in the iF design app and exhibited at the iF design exhibition in Berlin.
