Green City AG: Distributions and interest payments 2020

Munich, June 30, 2020 – Green City AG regularly informs about distributions and interest payments of the investments it initiates. In addition to the anniversary bond, this includes the Power Plant Park III and the emmy Crowdinvestment. As of the reporting date of 30 June 2020, the company made distributions and interest payments amounting to almost EUR 4.4 million to investors.

Anniversary Bond

In 2015, Green City issued the anniversary bond for its 10th anniversary. The ecological investment with an issue volume of EUR 10 million is designed as a bearer bond. Investors were forecast to receive their interest payments of 4 (tranche of A) or 5 (tranche B), a total of 440,000 euros.

Kraftwerkspark III

In March 2019, the public offer of the fixed-rate bonds “Kraftwerkspark III” of Green City Energy Kraftwerkspark III GmbH & Co. KG, a 100-owned subsidiary of Green City AG, ended with a placement level of just over 50 million euros. Since the start of sales in 2016, around 2,200 investors have invested in tranches A to C, thus driving the expansion of a regenerative power plant pool in Germany, Italy and France. For the three instalments, the contract was opened on 30.6. the sum of EUR 2.1 million in interest paid to investors.

Successful solar farms

Sixteen of the 23 closed-end mutual funds were currently in the event of a distribution. The amount of the distributions amounts to a good 1.6 million euros. The photovoltaics sector developed particularly positively: investors of the Weißenfels solar park received a total payout of just over 304,000 euros in April. The average payout amount of the 12 solar parks that will be distributed at the half-year is more than 10 of the limited partnership capital.

Crowd investment

After the successful crowdfunding together with Electric Mobility Concept GmbH, or emmy for short, investors were once again able to benefit from their investment: around 37,000 euros were paid out this year. In May 2019, the public offer of the crowd investment in the electric scooters ended with a placement level of almost 1.2 million euros. This is one of the largest crowdfunding operations in the mobility sector in Germany. Since the start of sales in spring 2018, 431 investors have ensured that the expansion of the fleet in Munich has been accelerated.
