Green City AG: Heike von der Heyden new Chief Financial Officer

Munich, September 13, 2021 – The Supervisory Board of Green City AG has appointed Heike von der Heyden as Chief Financial Officer with effect from September 1, 2021. Frank Wolf took on this role on an interim basis and is once again concentrating on managing the portfolio and financial sales on the Executive Board. Jens Mühlhaus will continue to act as Spokesman of the Management Board and Head of Operations.

Heike von der Heyden has been with Green City AG since 2019 and has been responsible for transactions and project financing ever since. “I am looking forward to working with my colleagues on the Board of Management and the Green City employees to develop strategies to make the Green City Group economically, ecologically and socially sustainable in the flourishing market environment of renewable energies,” says von der Heyden. Green City AG now holds more than 135 subsidiaries and has an international project pipeline of 800 MW in the wind and solar sector. Supervisory Board Chairman Matthias Altmann is particularly pleased that the appointment from his own ranks was possible: “Heike von der Heyden prevailed in an extensive selection process against numerous outstanding applicants – we are pleased to be able to appoint an excellent financial expert from our own company to the Executive Board.”

Business graduate Heike von der Heyden has more than twenty years of experience in leading positions in the field of corporate finance and private equity in Germany and the USA. She has several years of supervisory board and advisory board experience in medium-sized companies. Since 1 September 2021, Heike von der Heyden has been responsible for Finance, Transactions, Human Resources and Central Divisions of Green City AG.
