Windpark Dalkendorf: Citizens' information via website

The municipality of Dalkendorf is located in the district of Rostock and right here, in a so-called wind priority area, Green City has planned the construction of seven wind turbines. These are currently in the approval process. However, since no information events can currently take place due to the corona-related restrictions, the Munich-based company offers interested citizens an opportunity to inform themselves and enter into dialogue with a website.

On the website of the WP Dalkendorf interested parties will find information about the wind farm, project-related questions will be answered by the Green City team by e-mail at wp-dalkendorf2@greencity.de.
If you have any fundamental questions about the expansion of wind energy in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, please contact the State Energy and Climate Protection Agency (LEKA MV) by telephone on 0385 3031 643 or buergerservice@leka-mv.de.

Project and schedule

The area between the municipalities of Dalkendorf and Warnkenhagen covers about 80 ha. Green City AG has been able to conclude contractual agreements with the owners for part of the land areas of the wind priority area. Nordex N149 turbines with a rated output of 5.7 MW are planned for the wind farm. With a total height of 179.5 m, the wind turbines can generate about 88 million kWh of clean electricity per year. This corresponds approximately to the supply of 25,000 households of 3 people each.

The species protection investigations and mapping in the region have already taken place and have been completed as well as the preparation of the expert opinions (sound, shade, subsoil, etc.). In 2020, the corresponding permit application under the Federal Immission Control Act was submitted to the State Office for Agriculture and the Environment of Central Mecklenburg. Following the approval, which is expected for 2021, participation in the EEG tender will follow, and the construction of the plants is planned for 2022/2023.
